The KSD Group provided project management services to coordinate the renovation of the lobby, restroom, and exterior façade of the outdated eight-plex at this site, and new construction of an eight-theatre, stadium-seated addition without interruption of theatre operation through a nine-month construction schedule. The scope also included renovation of eight existing auditoriums to state-of-the-art stadium seating, a new parking lot, and site improvements.

The owners required that a path of egress be set up and maintained for ticket-buying customers through the middle of the 80-foot-high tower and colonnade construction and into the lobby. KSD orchestrated the revision and implementation of complete construction while maintaining operation of seven of the eight theatres.

KSD was also instrumental in reducing the original project budget by setting up extensive value engineering meetings
with the architect and general contractor to redefine details. KSD effectively reduced the original project budget of
$7.4 million to $6.1 million. The project was completed on time and approximately 20% under budget.
